Doggy Boarding

At Riley & Phoebe’s Cottage, we’re dedicated to creating a safe, loving, and welcoming home-away-from-home for every dog in our care. To provide each guest with personalized attention and the highest quality experience, we limit our daycare to a maximum of 10 dogs at any given time, with a weight limit of 30 pounds per dog.

We happily welcome friendly, well-mannered dogs who enjoy spending time with both people and other pups. Our goal is to foster a calm, happy, and low-stress environment where every dog feels comfortable, cared for, and part of the family.​

Admission Requirements​

To ensure the best experience for all dogs, we kindly ask that:

​

• Dogs are at least 6 months of age

• Dogs weigh 30 pounds or less

• Dogs demonstrate a stable, friendly temperament, with no history of serious aggression toward people or other animals

• Dogs are well-socialized and comfortable in a group setting

• Dogs are in good health and free from any contagious conditions

• Owners provide complete and accurate information regarding their dog’s behavior, medical history, and any special needs

Vaccination Requirements​

The health and safety of every dog are very important to us. The following vaccinations are required:

• Bordetella

• Rabies

• Distemper/Parvo

​

All vaccinations must be current and verified directly by your veterinarian. Documentation must be confirmed by an official veterinary clinic prior to admission.

Heat Cycle​

While spaying or neutering is not required, all dogs must be fully out of their heat cycle prior to arrival and throughout their stay. Owners are responsible for ensuring their dog is not in heat at drop-off and will not enter a heat cycle while in our care. Failure to disclose a dog’s heat status is considered a violation of this policy. Riley & Phoebe’s Cottage is not liable for any incidents resulting from a dog being in heat during their stay, including but not limited to unintended breeding or pregnancy.

If a dog is found to be in heat during their stay, we reserve the right, at our discretion, to:

​

• Require immediate pickup

• Isolate the dog (additional fees may apply)

• Decline future services

Medication​

For the safety and comfort of all pets, we are able to administer oral medications only.

​

• All medications must be provided by the owner

• Medications must be clearly labeled with the dog’s name, dosage, and instructions

• Written administration instructions must be provided

• Any special storage needs (such as refrigeration) should be shared with us in advance

​

While we will always do our best to accommodate special situations, we may not be able to administer medications beyond basic oral treatments.

​

Feeding​

To help keep your dog happy and healthy, we ask that owners provide enough food for the entire stay.

​

• All meals should be pre-portioned and individually packaged

• Owners are responsible for providing an adequate supply

​

If a dog’s food runs out during their stay:

​

• House food may be provided at our discretion

• A fee of $5 per meal will be applied

• We are not responsible for any digestive upset due to a change in diet

Cleanliness & Personal Items​​

To maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all dogs, we ask that each dog arrives with good hygiene at drop-off. Personal items such as toys and blankets are welcome. We kindly ask that all items be freshly washed, clean, and placed in a bag upon arrival. Items that do not meet our cleanliness standards may not be accepted.

Liability for Personal Items​

While we do our best to keep track of everything, Riley & Phoebe’s Cottage is not responsible for personal items that are lost, damaged, or soiled. We recommend labeling all items with your dog’s name to help avoid mix-ups.

 

Sleepover Package Includes

• Supervised playtime during daycare hours

• Clean, comfortable bedding and crate accommodations

• One daily FaceTime call (up to 10 minutes) so you can check in on your pup

• Ongoing monitoring to ensure your dog remains happy, relaxed, and stress-free

• Administration of oral medications, if needed

• 1 Dog: $65 per night

• 2 Dogs: $115 per night (must be from the same household)

• 3 Dogs: $150 per night (must be from the same household)

First-Time Clients​

We’re excited to meet you and your pup! A meet-and-greet is required and should be scheduled at least three (3) days in advance to ensure a great fit for everyone.

Returning Clients​

Reservations can be made by text or email and are subject to availability. We recommend booking in advance, as space is limited.
